Designer

Chris Cimer

Contemporary furniture designer creating bespoke and limited-production pieces that combine thoughtful design, technical precision and traditional craftsmanship.

My approach to furniture design began in the workshop rather than the studio. Growing up in a family of cabinetmakers, I developed an early understanding of timber, construction and the importance of making things properly.

Over the past fifteen years I have worked within London's high-end residential sector, producing manufacture-ready technical drawings and developing bespoke furniture and joinery for private homes alongside interior designers, architects and specialist workshops.

Today I combine creative furniture design with technical development, transforming ideas into production-ready pieces. Every object is carefully refined through proportion, material selection and detailing before it reaches the workshop.

My work focuses on contemporary furniture, bespoke commissions and limited-production collections designed to become lasting pieces within refined interiors.
